The Pentecostal Evangelistic Outreach (PEO) Ministry International has a rich and inspiring history rooted in faith, vision, and global evangelism. The ministry’s journey began in 1984 under the name Tulse Hill Church in the United Kingdom. Over time, it evolved and became incorporated into the Pentecostal Evangelistic Outreach Church based in Brooklyn, New York, under the leadership of the late Rev. Joseph Cornelius.
From these humble beginnings, PEO Ministry under the leadership of Overseer Robert Kirton has grown into an international movement with active branches in the United Kingdom, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, the United States, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, and Pakistan. Each branch contributes its unique story to the wider vision and legacy of the ministry.
The foundation of PEO Ministry International is built on the divine vision inspired by Matthew 4:19 — “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” This scripture defines the ministry’s purpose: to reach souls, transform lives, and empower believers to become effective “fishers of men.” Evangelism is not just structure but a skillful and purposeful calling, requiring preparation, wisdom, and spiritual insight.
The vision for the PEO Ministry was first received from God in 1982, yet it took eleven years of prayer, reflection, and divine preparation before it began to fully manifest in 1994. Through forty days and nights of fasting and prayer, a deeper understanding emerged — that the vision was to unfold in stages, guided by faith, purpose, and destiny.
Today, PEO Ministry International continues to thrive as a global Christian Ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel, nurturing disciples, and inspiring leaders with creative ideas that uplift and empower the body of Christ. The ministry’s enduring focus on vision and evangelism remains the cornerstone of its growth and global impact.

“PEO is about PEOple and PEOple begin with us” is more than a slogan—it is the heartbeat of our ministry. It reflects our name, vision, purpose, and objectives, and defines our call to ministry through obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20).

Rooted in Pentecostal faith and empowered by the Holy Spirit, PEO exists to reach people through evangelism and discipleship. Our objective is to establish local churches according to God’s plan, both locally and globally. Through evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development, we seek to plant and strengthen churches that reflect biblical truth and Spirit-led ministry.
